A while back I was talking to an attorney at work.  He was on the internet checking out the latest BMW line-up.  He owned a 3 series and wanted to "upgrade" to the SUV model.  I asked him how he liked the inline 6.  "Huh? I don't know anything about the engine," he replied.  And he wasn't kidding.  When a warning light came on to check the oil level, he brought it to the dealer to pull out the dipstick....

He did ask my advice, though -- "What color should I get this in?"
