carb conversion parts list

Without commentary about the merits of converting from SPICA injection to
carburetors, this a list of the parts that would be needed for a conversion
that would look and work like an original carbureted car.

--carburetors & manifold
--manifold gasket for carb engine
--shorter 8 1.0/8 1.25 studs for intake manifold (4)
--rubber carb mounts & gaskets
--carb support rod
--suitable air cleaner system
--block-off plate for the place on the front cover where the injection pump was
--throttle bell crank
--throttle rods (2)
--accelerator pedal shaft (runs across firewall, then into driver's footwell)
--fuel pressure regulator
--low flow fuel pump
--fuel filter
--universal-fit choke handle with cable, if you want one

You can get most of the parts from an early 1600 or non-North American
market car. The fuel pump from the SPICA system can be used, with a
pressure regulator, but it's better to buy a suitable low-flow pump (the
vintage Bendix style pump is still available) and sell the SPICA piece,
which is valuable.
