The Italian government. They bought it right after WWII (or maybe just
before?), which was the last time you could buy a *real* Alfa. Well
actually the last time you could buy a real Alfa was before Nicola Romeo
bought the company.. >>
Now imagine the US Government building cars or any business run by the
Federal gov't. Think about the product you would receive. All one has to do
is compare Postal Systems. While we all complain about how horrible the US
Postal
Service is (a few shootings aside), it is still the most efficient in the
world. But compared to Federal Express it's a joke. The Italian Federal Govt.
has taken civil servant inefficiency to a fine art.
