Carburetor migration

Am desirous of replacing the Solex carburetor on my 65 Giulia spider and 
have heard that the Weber is a great improvement.

Please tell me which model Weber works best and what adaptive hardware is 
necessary. Any other options to consider? Not intending to go dual. Any 
likely sources would be appreciated, as well.
