164 fuel filter

Always used original Bosch part: 0 450 905 087  262
Don't try to save money.  I replace it every 30,000 miles
to be on safe side.  You will need new washers on both sides.
In a pinch you maybe be able to reuse washers once.

the oil filter topic has been thoroughly explored.  Is there any reason
to go with a particular fuel filter for the 164?  Any qualitative
differences in your opinions?
