GTV6 courtesy lights

The interior courtesy lights of my '86 GTV6 don't come on when the
doors are opened. I have removed the switches, cleaned them, and treated
them with Deoxit 5, so they are functioning properly from a mechanical
point of view.

My car seems to be wired differently than the wiring diagram in the GTV6
CarDisc CDRom. The CarDisc diagram shows the door switch circuits as
separate from one another. In other words, when the driver door is
opened, only the driver side light would come on and the same on the
passenger side. It shows the wire from each door switch going directly
to its respective courtesy light.

My car is wired so that both lights would come on when either door is
opened. The wires from the door switch do not go directly to the
courtesy light, but must go to a connector somewhere, from whence a
different colored wire goes to the driver side courtesy light and from
there to the passenger side light.

My question after this long winded intro is, does anyone know where this
connector/junction is located? There is no continuity between the wires
at the door switches and the wire coming to the driver-side courtesy
light, so I have a break in that circuit somewhere.

Thanks,
