Don't worry about it. Synthetic oil will do beautifully for your 
Spider. I wouldn't run anything else in mine. I use Mobil 1 15w50.

If you change your oil every 3000 miles, there is no sludge in the 
engine. Sludge in the engine is very unlikely in this age of 
detergent motor oils anyway.
