Spider tops

Well all this talk has prompted me to once again ask - is there any way to
patch or repair a crack in the "glass" area of the convertible top?

I understand whatever I do will show and look lousy (the rest of the top is
PERFECT) but I would at least like to prevent it from getting worse.

Is there some sort of glue or patch material that can be used?
