Piston Stop

Hi,

I remember an article on the web about a piston stop that described making a
tool that could be used when tightening the front pully on an Alfa spider.
Does anyone
know where the url is ?  The tool worked by removing a spark plug and
screwing it into
the whole until it touched the piston.  The crank would stop turning and you
can torque the
nut ?  Can someone substitue a 14mm 50 mm long 1.25 pitch  bolt rather than
the tool if you could find
such a monster rather than the tool.
