My prediction: Daimler Chrysler can't really upmarket the Chrysler brand
much further, or downmarket Mercedes much further- plus, both marques are
pretty staid.  They're missing that enthusiast class between $25-$40K, where
BMW rules.  Hence, the Alfa line would be perfect to fill that hole.

Who knows... stranger things have happened...
