If you're going to start it up, you should drive it for at least half an
hour or so under some load so that the oil and cooling system come to full
operating temperature, all the water in the exhaust and oil is
evaporated away that way. Just starting it up, running it for a few
minutes, and shutting it down generally leads to leaving a lot of water
condensation in the exhaust, combustion chamber, crankcase, etc.
