The little wires can be removed using a straight pick. Lift up and bring
down each side until the wire is free. Be ceratin to grab that little
sucker though, they like to jump and get lost in the engine compartment
somewhere.
As far as the plastic connectors, try BAP/Geon if there is one in your
town. They have several locations here in Houston and they carry the
connectors. I would suggest that you also get some in-line connectors
that are the heat set kind (not the usual crimp type connector). These
seem to be better conductors of lower voltages.
