RE: 164 oil cooler

164's aluminum engine heats up really quick even in cold weather.
I think your thermostst is broken.  When my 164 thermostat was broken,
temp. goes very high when idling in traffic and temp indicated is
too cold on freeway.

Now I will replace my thermostat every four years no matter what
condition it is on any kind car I own.
