Yes, Norm. You do need to remove the radiator before you replace the fan
blade. And make sure that your motor mounts are in good shape before you
replace the fan shroud; otherwise the new blade will hit on your new fan
shroud because the engine is slightly lower than it should be. And don't
overtighten the screws when you install the new fan; they will break and you
may have to remove the water pump to get the broken part out. One learns
from experience.
