Headlight short

Alas, it appears I have an intermittent short in one of my headlights on my
Duetto.  Unfortunately, I've got the recessed headlights, and I can't figure
out how to go in and check/ clean the grounds (which I'm guessing is the
problem.)

Can anyone give me advice as how to take care of this?
