Colin,

I got the same code some six months ago, out of the blue.

I did the test as specified in the manual and my sensor seemed OK.  Still, not taking any risks, I called up AlfaBill and had him ship me a new one.  Guess what, it went away - only for three months.

Now it comes back now and again.  Either I have another bad sensor, or the wiring has the wrong resistance (unlikely) or my ECU is weirding out on me.  I just left it the way it is.  The car doesn't seem to have suffered in terms of daily running.  (also, this problem is intermittent, but when it does happen, I shut the car down and
read the code again just to make sure nothing new has developed).
