The unit also has an air line attatched to it. Its job is to maintain the=

fuel preasure at
a set amount higher than the air preasure in the inlet manifold. This
ensures that
the length of time the injectors are open for is directly proportional to=

the amount of
fuel injected.

Essentially it is just a preasure relief valve. Not sure how you could te=
st
it (I have
lent out my fuel injection books.)
