Milano ABS

After the got my Milano home Friday, I checked around the pump, looked at the
fusible link, looked at all the relays and fuses behind the fuse box.
Everything looked OK, but still no running pump. Put a meter on the relays, had
12v in, but was only seemed to be getting about 5v at the hot wire to the pump.
Unfortunately, the relay isn't a simple old ordinary relay, but contains diodes,
making it difficult for mechanical types (I break into a cold sweat at the
mention of Ohm's Law) to diagram and troubleshoot correctly. Rightly or
wrongly, I fed 12 v directly to the pump. It ran for a second and stopped. The
long and short of it is that at the end of my investigating, I'm not really sure
what is wrong. Any more ideas out there? Is it time to call APE for another
pump? Do any of my Houston digesters know of anybody in this area that works on
ABS?

Mike
