Re: '74 Spider questions

Vince,

You'd be well served to pick up a copy of Pat Braden's "Alfa Romeo
Owner's Bible". In addition to invaluable information on maintaining an
Alfa Romeo, he includes an excellent section on how to buy a good one.
Classic Motorbooks has it, some local bookshops might as well. You can
order it from the web via the Classic Motorbooks website
<http://www.motorbooks.com/>.

The next best thing you can do is to go to the Alfa Romeo Association's
"All Italian Day" car and motorcycle show in Alameda this Sunday. Lots of
Alfa people will be there who you can talk to about buying a used Alfa.
And have a fun time too. I have the registration form scanned and on line
for information on time, place, etc ...

I'll be there with FrankenSpider, the Giallo Beastie. You can't miss it,
bring sunglasses... ;)

Godfrey
