lower wishbone spacers.....

Hiya all...
I was just wondering if anybody out there can tell me the unshortened hight/length
of the lower wishbone spacers for a alfetta gtv/gtv6/75, cos ive finally gotten
sick of the understeer and shredded front tires on my lowered 77 gtv, the extra
camber was good when it had the standard front sway bar, but now it just doesn't
roll enough to use the camber...
The GTV6 page suggests shortening by 5/16", but it says that if the wishbone
touches, fit a 1/32" spacer untill you get it aligned, so would shortening by
9/32" be a better bet? (just want to know the original length incase mine have
been messed with by PO, cos the front suspension wasn't put together right by
the "restorer" who put this thing back together)
btw do you really have to disconnect the lower ball joint to do this job?
Also any hints on alignment specs? (i run 205/55 15s, koni gas all round, big
front sway bar and 30mm lower, stiffened springs about to go on the back)
car gets punted along fairly quickly through the adelaide hills and i would
like to sprint it in the future.(any one out there race one of these?)
TIA
