Castle Hill Concours Winner

Just back from the Castle Hill Concours (Crane Estate, Ipswich, MA, USA) There were 2 Alfas accepted
to the show, a 1952 Series One 1900 CS Touring bodied coupe, owned by Alfa Owners of New England
member Bud Brickman, one of seven in the USA, and a 1935 8C (2900) Grand Prix, once driven by
Nuvolari, one of 2 in existence (so said the driver, John H?). Not only did the 1935 Alfa 8C Grand
Prix take "Best of Show" trophy but it also took the Best Race Car - pre 1945" trophy as well!!!
That engine sounded fabulous!!! Started on the first crank and put ALL the others to shame, IT
REALLY SOUNDED THAT
GOOD!!! Just thought you all would want to know!
