hi jorge,
as don knows, i'm also into audio-n-analog. no tunes in my cars, tho! :>) my
rig (don't like planers, don; & tubes are fine for the midrange up, but i can't
be bothered!) includes meret monitors, vmps subs, adcom amps for the subs,
electrocompaniet amps for the monitors (wery tube-like!), marchand x-over, linn
pre-amp, onix tuner, nad/z-man (w/mullard tube!) cd, c&j walker (highly
modified) 'table, and a cool jvc ambisonics-type audio-only surround set-up
w/radio-shack/linnaeum surrounds. oh yeah, got a thiel speakers/audio
innovations integrated set-up in the kitchen, fed off the linnie. wires (hoses,
alfa-bill?) are mostly tara labs.
the *retail* walue of all this stuff is >$35k, but cheapskate that i am, careful
used/close-out shopping has resulted in a total expenditure of <$13k. :>)
money spent over many years. oh yeah, forgot about the audio vois
integrated/spectrum speakers/revox tuner *alarm-clock* in the bedroom!
when i win the lottery, i'll splurge on a pair of jadis eurythmies or avantgarde
acoustics speakers, & i'll drive 'em w/ludicrously expensive
single-digit-wattage single-ended-triode amps... and my daily-driver ferrari
360 *won't* have a radio! :>)
ciao for now,
dug seed in
