Tom,

Alfa has been out of the North American market for over 4 years now.  No new cars past 1995 were
offered and currently there are no solid plans for Alfa to return.  Every interview the automotive
press has had with Alfa's senior management indicates that the North American market isn't out of
the question but there are no immediate plans to bring the new cars over.

In other words, no 156, 166, GTV or Spider for us Americans.

I personally believe that if Audi could mount an effort to challenge BMW's 3-series here in the US
with their A4, Alfa could have done similarly with the 156 but they didn't.

Just my two pennies.
