"Fogged" 1750 GTV speedometer dial

Hi everybody,

The glass of the speedometer dial on my 1750 GTV has become "fogged" from
behind.  The reasons why the dial was "steamed" are various but have all
been taken care of now - but the fog behind the glass of the dial remains.
I have the dial out of the car and I'm wondering how to remedy the
situation.

My first thought is to try leaving the dial face-down in a warm dry place
for a while and see if the water evaporates.  Otherwise I'll have to take
the glass of the dial off and try to dry it out.  How do you take the dial
apart?

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
