Alfa didn't design the milano's HVAC system.  Behr did,  in Texas no
less.  I guess Texas doesn't have trees.  

When the problem first came to light (or feet) ALFA and behr each blamed
the other 
for not installing a debris excluder.  Although even Honda has the same
problem (to a much lesser degree) and they use a 6mm screen.
