Milano stumbling

My '87 Verde has a new O2 sensor, new coolant temp sensor, all the hoses seem to
be hooked up properly.  It starts immediately, idles well, but if one tries to
take off with more than about 1/3 throttle when cold, it bogs down totally.  It
is then a matter of finding the throttle position that allows it to accelerate
with any sort of alacrity.  Once it has any temp showing on the gage, it is
fine.  Any suggestions?
