Does any one have any recommendations for the best way to heat shield a
Milano's Accumulator/Electro-pump?

[Lars replies:]
On my 75 TS (A Milano with a 2 litre stright four) the pump is located
on the left side of the engine,
cosy and warm pretty near the headers.
I took a sheet of 1/32" stainless steel and made a shield of, it's bent
like a "J" and it's fastened by letting the bolts holding
the pump to the car going through it. The sheet is approx. 16 " times
8" before bending it.
On the upper side it's secured with a metal wire, through two small
holes in the shield and around the neck of
the accumulator. On the inside of the shield it's possible to glue some
kind of insulation, never tried that though.
My .02$ worth of knowledge...

All the best
