Wash DC Spiders

Just spent the weekend in DC, and noticed several Alfas--but only 
spiders, no 164s or Milanos etc.  The first was headed east on 50 around 
1pm on sat, another in Georgetown, behind the university, and still a 
third near the Old Ebbitt Grill downtown sat night.  They were all 
red....  Does anyone on the list belong to them?
