I'd like to thank all those who gave suggestions.

The problem has disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared?  

Sort of ... I started the car on Saturday and while it was running I
"Jiggled" each of the wires on the FI side of the engine.  Whenever I moved
one of the wires the car would cutout.  At one point I heard what sounded
like "Arcing".  I moved a screw next to the wiring harness that seemed to be
rubbing and the problem went away.

You gotta love electronics!
