Many times, the only way I can start a brake or clutch bleeding process 
is with a vacuum pump. The "Mity-Vac" hand pump is easily available at 
most auto retailers for this purpose and works extremely well. Once you 
get fluid through the system with the vacuum pump, traditional bleeding 
methods work well.
