Milano wheels

My newly acquired Milano ('89) has a fair bit of corrosion (paint
bubbling & flaking off) on the wheels - looks ugly!
I seem to remember some discussion a while ago about best method for
painting.  If anyone remembers or has advice, please remind me.

Thanks...............isn't discovering the warts on a newly acquired
,old car, fun!  ( like water in the trunk from leaking tail light
gaskets!!)
