Re: Faza "Daytona" exaust systems

I've purchased two complete exaust systems from Faza (Al Cosentinto).
One for my 74 GTV and on for my 79 Alfetta GT. The 74 system has been in
daily use for about four years without any problems whatsoever. No rust,
burn throughs, stress cracking or anything unusual. The Alfetta system,
while not in daily use, is holding up well also. Initialy there where
some problems with fit for the Alfetta but after some dancing with Al he
sent the right part and all is good.
As they age and the packing burns out of them they will get substanialy
louder but that doesn't bother me in the least. Fit is good. Even
transfered the sysem from the 74 to my wifes 67 GTV (1750, hanging
pedas) without any fitting problems. If there is any real flaws I would
say its the fact that the tubing is not mandrel bent. Other than that
and the fact that dealing with Mr. Cosentino can somtimes be a test of
ones resolve, I would recomend the systems. Strong, good welds, heavy
gauge, long lasting, good fit, and great sound. Good street systems.
My opinion only and no financial interest etc.
