Here's a strange one!! Please help (sort of long)

On Tuesday, while sitting waiting for Valet to take my car, an attendant
decided to backup and run a Honda Accord up the front of my spider (DAMN!!).
The company responsible has agreed to repair the damage (~$2,000).

QUESTION: Has anyone had experience with paint matching on an '83 which is
sort of orange red?

BUT ... that's not the strange part!! After the accident I've noticed the
car start to hesitate. If I'm starting off in first gear it just seemed to
start off fine and then for a split second would cutout and then go again
(almost like water in the fuel). The first day this was more off then on,
and then started to become more and more common. By yesterday afternoon it
was pretty bad and I wasn't sure if I would make it home.

This morning it started OK and then when I stopped at the first stop sign it
cutout totally. Went to the gas station and filled up but was very
difficult to start. When I started to pull away it felt like it was going
to cutout again. Parked it back in the garage (DAMN!! DAMN!!)

QUESTION: WHAT IT IS GOING ON?? Is there something in the nose that would
cause this?

DAMN!!)

P.S. The car has been incredibly reliable. Drive it every day. Oil was
just changed last week.
