Re: unreliable bosch parts

hm.. all these talk about german parts failing in italian cars, make
me wonder if Bosch are like Microsoft, purposely sell the rejected
units to other country's automobile manufacture to damage their
reliability rating so the german cars gets good rating?

It is quite true that most of electrical related issues are
bosch parts, at least to my experience.

Oh, another german but not bosch part, ignition switch in milano.
I had to pay like $120 the night it stopped working to an italian
locksmith who made fun of him being italian, working on an italian
car, but replacing a german made ignition switch.

jess <--- also test drove a brand new 4dr M3, while a super fast car
that is very easy to drive... just like Nizam said, too eazy to
the point it takes the fun out of driving... Engine note... well..
you know its there... kinda boring.. Now a happy 164LS owner.
