Fellow Digesters:

As fascinating as this Bubbas vs Bleeding Hearts battle royale has been,
perhaps it's time we moved on.  Many of us on the digest aren't Americans,
and hence find the whole issue to be somewhat moot.  I commend those of you
who have developed reasoned opinions (of either perspective) and have
expressed them so eloquently, but frankly, they don't belong in this forum.
