Re: Re: 164 has LSD???

Hi Gang!
Hi David!

I've never heard of 164 with LSD.
I've seen some photos (where was it????????dunno) of racing 164s, so
there maybe a chance.....

LSD in FWD cars is just as David describes.
I have a LSD (fully mechanical) on my Honda VTEC (for racing only) and
full power with the wheels turned is a sure attention grabber (for the
Driver of course...)
Very very powerful kick back from the steering. At near full lock, we
have a very tight hairpin, and power-on can send you to the wall very
easily.........
BTW, the Honda has about 180-200Hp, and runs 195/185-58 15" racing
slicks...... (half-way from Group N to Group A)

Most FWD cars don't have LSD, as they become dangerous, especially in
the wet.... and/or if you don't know what you are doing....

My first laps with the FWD and LSD proved enlightening...... I could
really <<see>> the wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I said see, not touch...)

Paulo
Too many Alfas to list........
One brand less 1.600cc Race car.....
and a GTV6 becoming a race car.... still long to go.........
