Spark plug socket/swap meet/Alfas won't become stolen cars

Greetings Alfisti!
First,on the subject of spark plug sockets for reaching into the spark
plug wells for the V6's.Go to Wal Mart, or stores where the Popular mechanics
brand of tools (made in Taiwan, and decent tools for the price). They have a
thin walled spark plug socket available with a swivel mounted on top, costs
about $4.50 US or so...........Fits perfectly and the swivel helps around the
plug closest to the Brake MC.(Remember to use Lodge plugs when changing plugs
though................:)
Talked with Autocraft in York,PA yesterday (trying to find a close
source for the gearbox for Lazarus) and Mr.Stohlman, the owner mentioned that
there's an Alfa parts swap meet scheduled for early June at his shop.Anybody
have any firm info on this?Mr.Stohlman wasn't sure of the date....
Also, on the subject of car thefts........Alfas probably have one of
the lowest instances of car thefts of any brand in the US.This is for two
reasons.1.there's no real market for a chop shop to sell the stolen parts to
(except to Alfisti) and they;re too unique, few and far between to be
stolen, new VIN's attached and then resold and driven, unless they're possibly
exported to other countries.(Heard of this happening in the DC area
recently, primarily with new "P"cars being stolen while on test drives).
Now, if you own a newer Honda Civic,I'd worry about that.In the DC
area, these are at the top of the stolen cars "hit parade".Out of 5 recent
long term (1-2 months) car rentals at my office;all 5 were owners of Honda
Civics.Only one was recovered;the rest's whereabouts are known only to God
and car thieves. This won't happen to Alfas, uniqueness and exclusivity has
it's advantages. That's also why most of us pay relatively cheaper insurance
rates for Alfas than people who own similarly classed BMW's,. P cars,3 point
star garbage,Toyota Supras(also a DC hot hit item)etc.Valuations have a lot
to do with it, but when's the last time you heard of an Alfa being stolen?
Enjoying my Alfa,

automatic would work in this car.Oh no............................)
