high performance (literally no alfa content)

Hi again you all.
This time I have a simple question.  I've been reading the AD since early
January, and have yet to come across a thread regarding high performance
mods, engine, intake and exhaust treatments, suspension, etc, etc.  There is
a lot of these things at model specific sites, but not here.  Is this a
taboo subject in the Digest, or have I missed so much in the past that there
is nothing new?  Come on guys, I know a lot of you like to race.  Give out
some secrets!
