Spider Seats

Chris Keen reported seeing an ad for a spider in England that had rear seats;
Russ Neely replied that he once had a 71 European 1750 spider which had a rear
seat, mostly just foam upholstered to match the front seats, but he did not
know if it was aftermarket or what. Hans de Kok added "This was an original
seat, used in 2000 Veloces in Europe, i think only delivered a few years on
the end of the seventies."

My 1750 parts book lists, for the squaretail only,

105.95.58.017.00 rear seat cushion
105.95.58.017.00 rear seat back
105.95.58.017.00 top trim
105.95.58.017.00 left side panel
105.95.58.017.00 right side panel

each of which came with any of four suffixes for colors:
01 black
02 deep purple
03 red
04 wild boar

It does not list rear seats for the 1750 roundtail nor does my 1600 Spider
("Duetto") parts book list rear seats.

The hardtop listed for the 1750 roundtail, but not for the 1600 or for the
squaretail (in my books) is a very elegant design with quarter windows and
very thin rear pillars- about as elegant as a hardtop gets, and would have
been ideal for a 2+2 Spider. But evidently one could have the seats, or the
airy top, but not both on the same car.

I would assume that the 2+2 Spider might be usable for two small adults and
two small children, but tight for most of us.
