Ordinary winged aircraft must guard against stalling but a gyro CANNOT
STALL!  Speed limits, in the book, call for no speed limit above 10,000 ft.
and below that height its 200 mph.  The highest speed by an autogyro is
about 130mph, as far as I know.  Gyros are considered by many to be safer
than winged craft in some ways.  Fred Di Matteo
