baja 500 or 1000, any alfas?

Have there been any alfa's that have completed the baja 500 or 1000 on
something kind of modified alfa?  There was as guy who completed it on a
piaggio typhoon 125 a few years back.  If that canadian makes a 4x4
spider this might be a good start.
