James,

What I've done in the past is banged the motor under the seat with a
screwdriver and it would start working again. Another is to clean the
contact switches. I still have to do that with my rear seats today since no
one ever really sits back there. Good Luck!

My '93 164L with power leather seats has sudenly started having problems.
The driver side seat will recline, but when you push the button to make the
seat more upright nothing happens.  Has anyone experienced this electrical
gremlin in the past?  Any sugestions as to a non technical fix?  Thanks in
