Re: 105 coupe fibreglass panels

Mark Battley mentioned that Continental Cars in Wellington, New Zealand
have "some fibreglass panels from time to time". Just for the record, Mike
Ennis has spent the last few years progressively building up stocks of 105
Series panels both in steel and in fibreglass. most of the fibreglass ones
have been duplicated from panels that were originally mine so I can vouch
for the fact that they are faithful replicas of genuine Alfa parts and
superior to stuff manufactured in Italy which he has samples of. As well,
he has some NOS steel panels. I recently bought a fibreglass front for our
1964 Sprint GT from him, and he has on loan from me right now, a trunk lid
for a pattern. I'm now wishing that I hadn't sold some of the 1750/2000
front panels I had. However I think I'm true in claiming that I have
probably the only NOS GT Veloce trunk lid from the '70s, in captivity!

Mike is a good guy to deal with and can be contacted at

Les in Wellington, NZ. ......... no financial interest in Continental Cars
etc etc
