Tools to carry...

I think we did this thread a year or so ago. I suppose it merits
re-opening.
For a long time I carried a tool box full of tools until I discovered,
they don't do you any good unless you have some parts. So I started
carrying an ever expanding box of spares. I still never had the right
part, or tool for whatever happened, but I was able to help a couple
other Alfista at Sebring once. I even had a spare timing belt in
there, like it would do me any good if mine went???

Then... after a brief stint of spirited driving one night, my trunk
and cabin filled with "Purple K" fire extinguisher powder after the
head got knocked off my fire bottle by all my spares and tools sliding
around. There never seems to be much of that stuff available when
putting out a fire, but believe me, it will amaze you how much there
is when it's spewing into your interior.

Now my tool kit is a small "Ziplock" bag with a couple screwdrivers
and pair of pliers and two wrenches for tightening ground connections.
Other than that, my AAA card and a replacement for my expended Fire
Ext. is all I need.
Keep it simple!!! IMHO
