That would likely be the California Mille, the only US event officially
sanctioned by the Italian organization that recreates the Mille Miglia.
The big US event is only open to cars of 1957 and earlier that might have
actually run in the Mille Miglia, but they seem to have other events for 
enjoying cars of lesser pedigree. See the following:

Martin Swig was involved with the California Mille for several years,
but I don't know if he still runs it.
