Spica Question

I would like to convert an 1982 4 cyl Bosch FI engine to Spica. I know
the engine front covers are different(Spica pump mounting holes and two
oil holes), I have an extra 77 engine. I want to replaced the 82 engine
front cover with the 77 front cover. Will the 82 block have provisions
for the oil feed and return holes. Or do I have to use the 77 block?
