synthetic gear oils

You CANNOT use the Mobil 1 gear oil in the transaxle, its meant for a
diff only. I don't remember the details, but I think it has high sulfur
content or something which will eat up gears.

I did some research on this a couple of years ago, including speaking to
Mobil. I ended up buying stuff from Redlines web site, since no one
carried the product for the transaxle. I think it ended in an NS i,e
75W90NS or something similar.

Sorry, I can't be more specific, but am going from memory. Hopefully, it
gives you a starting point to figure it out.
