FWIW, I know of several charcoal exterior/blue interior 1982
GTV-6s, including my own. This is certainly a factory color
combination.
And unlike nearly everybody else, I think early GTV-6s are
better than late ones, for many reasons including these:
1. Classy one-tone paint jobs
2. No fussy side-cladding
3. No fussy plastic thing between the taillamps
4. Last-forever torsion bar subframe
5. High-geared final drive
6. Super-communicative feel-the-synchros-working shift
linkage. The Isostatic was the rubbery one. Everybody
gets that backwards!
7. More comfortable seats
8. Good-looking early Campagnolo wheels
9. Air conditioning system is easier to remove
10. Nicer interior detailing -- window switches, door
panels, fan speed selector, hand throttle, etc.
I will concede that those blue dashboards and 85MPH speedos
were a bit unfortunate.
