I have advised Mark in Auckland and Miguel in Portugal by private email but
for general readership one point needs stressing: if only a little bit is
cut off a spring, the resulting ride height will be increased because the
spring rate will increase. So, cut the springs too little and the car will
rise!

For those who have it, the CRH details all the calculations and tells you
how much to cut the springs.
