164 exhaust

I need to replace my exhaust (behind converter on back) on my '91 164L. 
Should I replace it with a stock exhaust or go with an after market
free-flow exhaust (Stebro, Ansa, etc. . . ) system?

Also, the seat motors on the aforementioned 164 seem to be frozen and
the heated seats do not get heated.
Front seats 	Driver's side- 	back/forward -- 	frozen
			height adj. 		up/down--		frozen
							recline			works

			Pass. Seat		back/forward	works
							up/down		frozen
							recline			frozen

			Rear seats						frozen

What is the best way to attack my seat problems?

Please advise.
